Harvest Moon Haunting

They were born of fire and a mother's last wish. Long ago, when the fields were dying and the winter came too early, a desperate women begged the old tree behind the cornfield to save her twin boys. The tree answered - but not kindly.

the next morning, the crops were full again. And her sons were gone. In their place stood two tall figures with jack-o'-lantern heads, burning from within, watching the fields in silence. Now, every October, when the harvest moon rises, the pumpkin twins return. They walk the rows by moonlight, guarding the scarecrow that no one dares touch. And, if you see them in the corn..... don't speak, don't run. Just pray they forget your face.
